Description
Return to Forever highlights the best Airto has to offer. This album has beautiful melodies and strong improvisations from Joe Farrell. The Brazilian influences of Flora Purim's voice and Airto Moreira's percussion playing meld tastefully. Stanley Clarke's bass adds tasteful accents to this elegant music. This album also features Hubert Laws, Ron Carter, Keith Jarrett & George Benson. You're really going to get a bang for your buck on this one.

This was originally released as Free in 1972.

Funny how they changed the album title from one band's name to another. I wonder who they'll name this set after the next time it's reissued. :-)

For some reason, Wounded Bird used the title and cover art (with a colour change) from the 1982 vinyl reissue of the album:
