I was always a bit bothered that the movie HG did not have the wild, untamable hair as described in the books. A new play has solved the problem with more proper casting. Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will be opening in London late this summer and is already breaking box-office records. Huzzah!  http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/de ... stage-play

Non-ginger Weasley? Then any positive move on Hermione's hair is cancelled out by the Weasley fail. With the potential of multiple Weasley fails to come if the other Weasleys aren't ginger.
Besides...hadn't Hermione worked out the messy hair thing eventually (such that Old Hermione should also know the solution)? Or was it only the buck teeth thing she got fixed?

Funny to watch people argue with Rowlings about this. She quoted her description of HG, which did not mention skin color, and seems pleased with the casting. Cue a bunch of idiots trying to prove that she's wrong. But then some Harry Potter fans were upset that they hired an Asian actress to play Cho Chang, because they thought she was white

If it was a movie I would be irked by it. But only because the original actors are the characters IMO.
In a play eh. Heck I wouldn't mind seeing it if the buzz is good.

I'm going to be in London in June, and I am currently trying to do all I can to get into a preview. Interestingly, its actually two separate plays. It will be a challenge to get them both in, but I'm hoping!
