Description
The Only Ones were formed in 1976 by Peter Perrett, and explored the musical territory between Punk, Power Pop, and Hard Rock. They were the ultimate cult band loved by critics and extremely influential. Between 1976 and 1981 the band produced three critically acclaimed albums. This version of their 1979 sophomore album has been remastered from original tapes and contains three bonus tracks. But bizarrely deleted by Sony, we are delighted to be able to reissue this album.

Just a straight reissue of the 2009 remaster?

Interestingly, prior to this remaster, I'd never heard this version of "Oh No" -- it wasn't on the 2004 CBS RECORDINGS compilation, which purported to round-up everything they'd done for CBS. And it's not the well-known Peel Sessions version, either.

If it's the same master, this seems like a better deal. Tracklist is the same.

This is what I have. My only frustration with these types of sets: no liner notes (which is why I don't know the source of that "new" (to me) "Oh No").

But you can't beat the value, and all 3 discs sound great.
