Deluxe TUSK (DELUXE EDITION) delves deep into the vaults with five CDs including the remastered original album, an alternate version of the complete album made up of session outtakes, most of which have never been released, as well as an additional selection of singles, demos and remixes, including an outtake of the Top 20 hit "Think About Me," an early version of "That's Enough For Me" called "Out On The Road," plus several incarnations of "I Know I'm Not Wrong." Also included are two discs loaded with 22 unreleased performances from the band's 1979 Tusk tour with selections from concerts in London, Tucson, and St. Louis. It includes live versions of album tracks like "Sara," "Over And Over" and "Save Me A Place," as well as favorites like "Landslide," "You Make Loving Fun," "Rhiannon," "Don't Stop" and "Go Your Own Way." Rounding out the Deluxe Edition is a 5.1 surround mix of Tusk on DVD-Audio and vinyl of the original album on 2-LPs. The collection comes housed in an elegant box reminiscent of the acclaimed Rumours Deluxe Edition with a booklet that has extended liner notes that feature new interviews with all the band members.

i'm in, if it is anything like the first two in this series it will be worth it.

it takes a lot for me to re-buy for a third time, this, i consider, "a lot".

Unfortunately it appears so. Same here – will go for the 3CD version.

I know "Rumours" was released in a deluxe edition in 2013, but what is the other one?

's/t' was released around the same time as 'rumours', it has 5 bonus tracks and comes in a slipcase just like 'rumours'.

So this is the second deluxe edition of "Tusk", joining "Rumours" which had it's second deluxe edition, in varying configurations, released in 2013.

Thanks for the reminder. I have it (since I had totally forgotten that fact, it shows you how badly I nede this, lol!) & will need to compare the track listing to this. Since it's standard 44/16, & I have a hi-res of the original album anyway, I really think all I want/need are the live tracks.

Well, this came out of left field, didn't it? I like Tusk very much so now, but it took me a good while to get used to Lindsey's stuff, just seemed like he was throwing a bunch of temper tantrums for some reason. Not sure I need 5 CDs of it, might have to wait till it gets to 50% off like I did with the Rumours box.

What I would rather have seen is (a) the Buckingham Nicks box with the unreleased 2nd album tracks and live stuff, (b) the 1975 s/t album with tracks from the 1975 / 76 tours, where they covered the middle period / Welch era, sweet stuff like Spare Me A Little with Stevie & Lindsey on backup vocals, or (c) deluxe Mirage & Tango, with multiple versions of Stevie's burning Smile At You.

But I digress...

Tusk trivia: while Lindsey got more songs on Tusk, time-wise his songs are much shorter than Christine's & Stevie's. Going by the minutes, they each get about the same amount of time...

"Tusk" is alittle like the Fleetwood Mac's "White" Album. Experimental for sure after the previous two.

I'd be happier to see reissues of Mirage and Tango, with B-sides, single mixes, and outtakes.

I'm still hoping the tour will be an excuse for a B/n release. I posted this elsewhere a couple weeks ago, but I read that Buckingham is the problem; that Stevie wants to release it & Lindsey doesn't.
