I would have voted for Philo Vance, but I listen to a lot of old radio shows.

My theory is that Fletcher is a clever psychopath who preys on suggestible loners. She wracks up the body count and no one is the wiser. Even more ghastly, she plays the role of innocent old lady AND makes a fortune off the stories.

If she moved to my town, I would move immediately. A black man would have it easier surviving the Walking Dead than anyone who lives in a one mile radius of her wrinkly ass.

At the risk of getting stoned by most IMWANkers, I haven't read as many Batman comics as a geek my age really should. How many Batman stories actually count as DETECTIVE stories? If you count the 1966 TV series, probably more than I think, but I'm talking about the comics. I ought to think of Batman as a "detective", but instead I think of him as a "superhero." Any thoughts?

At least 830 of them, give or take a few specials and annuals.
They call him the Dark Knight Detective for a reason. :bats:

Well, it is true that he stars in DETECTIVE COMICS, and the comic book company he belongs to gets his name from that book.

Unless one believes that DC stands for Donenfeld Comics.
