Description
'Letters From the Labyrinth' is Trans-Siberian Orchestra's first album of individual, unconnected songs. The 14-track set is knit together by the serious underpinning of the songs, whether it's the sweeping overview of humanity on 'Time & Distance', the concerns of world banking irregularities on 'Not Dead Yet', the anti-bullying message of 'Not The Same' (which Paul O'Neill co-wrote with his daughter) or the learn-from-the-past studies of 'Prince Igor and 'King Rurik'. In some ways it's a straight ahead album, and in some ways it's not. It's blatantly out of the box more music-driven as opposed to story- and music-driven.

Tracklist
1. Time And Distance (The Dash)
2. Madness Of Men
3. Prometheus
4. Mountain Labyrinth
5. King Rurik
6. Prince Igor
7. The Night Conceives
8. Forget About The Blame
9. Not Dead Yet
10. Past Tomorrow
11. Stay
12. Not The Same
13. Who I Am
14. Lullaby Night

Oh, give it a rest please, Renny.

TSO is touring "The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve" this year, not the new album.

TSO is not a traditional rock band by a long shot. It would help to think of them more like a traveling circus troupe, or an off-Broadway show, that has several touring units playing in different cities, even performing matinee and evening shows in some locations.

Yes, Trans-Siberian Orchestra uses two different touring companies to maximize their number of shows in the short November-December tour season, but people don't go to a TSO concert to see a certain guitar player or singer playing their latest hit, they go to hear the Christmas music and see the spectacle. People don't really care who is playing the music, so why complain or expect them to be like other bands?

And how dare they make money!

Much more interested to see if they put out the joint Savatage/TSO performance at Wacken on BluRay. It looks like that was a pretty incredible performance. An easy no-brainer purchase if it's released.
