Anyone know anything about this new digital-only collection? There's no documentation on Amazon (currently $9.99), iTunes (currently $6.99) or Rhapsody, where I streamed it this morning. It has 17 tracks and sounds great. Very raw, just the way I like Cheap Trick. When I searched the web, I saw mention of two more volumes, but they aren't out yet, it seems. Here's the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012IWPIKO/?tag=imwan-20

Looking at it, it sure seems like I have all this material already from the remasters and box set.
Looks like just a digital cash-in, but I'd have to look closer.

Looks like just a digital cash-in, but I'd have to look closer. Probably so, therefore so what. This is for the Apple generation.

A lot of the tunes were the bonus tracks on the first four reissues, but there are tracks I can't place elsewhere on here-- the 6+ version of Taxman, for example, and some of the live tracks. Has anyone been able to find any info?

Was happy to find that Cheap Trick is used as the soundtrack of the early 80's in the new Pixels movie.

The missing live tracks are from Budokan II and recorded in 1979 - a year after the famous Budokan release. The Taxman demo is a bonus demo from the promo sampler put out to promote the first round of CT remastered reissues. The only "new" thing is the live single edit of "Ain't That A Shame".

There are hi-res versions of these also.
