I'm currently watching a BBC broadcast of various David Bowie video appearances. They cut from Bowie's performance of "Oh You Pretty Things" to a live 1971 cover of the song by Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits (who also had a hit single in the UK with his cover of the song which was produced by Bowie/Ronson).

Try to picture "Herman" in eyeshadow & lipstick....................

It's like Mojo Nixon's Elvis Is Everywhere...but with Bowie.
