The Zombies Announce New Album Still Got That Hunger For October 2015
Iconic British psychedelic-pop legends, The Zombies are back with a new album. It’s called, Still Got That Hunger, and this newest Zombies project is set to be released on October 9th, 2015, via The End Records/ADA in digital and physical formats.
The Zombies’ Still Got That Hunger was produced by Chris Potter, who is best known for his work with The Verve on their album Urban Hymns, along with his production work on The Rolling Stones’ 1989 release, Steel Wheels.
“We’re really excited to be signing our new album to The End Records – it somehow seems fitting that it should be released on a Brooklyn based label, as our very first American concerts way back in 1964 took place at The Brooklyn Fox Theatre!,” the band’s co-founder and keyboardist Rod Argent said in a press release.

It's available for preorder at http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/thezombies - $15 for the download, $20 for download + CD. If you just want the CD, then I'd wait until AmazWAN has it.
I do like having an option to pay the artists more directly, to get a bigger cut. AmazWAN is also a preferred option so our 2nd favorite site gets a cut.

Interesting story Rod told at their concert - about a month ago, a couple of weeks prior to release, he got a Cease & Desist letter from Sony/ATV because of the bit at the end of Maybe Tomorrow quoting from Yesterday. After consulting with lawyers who told him that a "fair use" defense was not likely to hold up in court, and with 2 days prior to the CDs going to distributors, he threw a Hail Mary, and got a hold of the contact info for Paul McCartney's personal assistant (or business manager, maybe?). He emailed her a copy of the song, and the letter, and said we'd like Paul to hear it.
The following day, he gets a call that Paul loved the song and gave it his full blessing, and that he'd contacted Sony to call off the dogs.

With all due respect I expect customers like I and Hank who participated in the "pledge" support get alittle something too. Like a signed CD that they sell at the shows or the tote bag Amazon has.

I spent $45 at their merch table for a signed LP of Odessey and Oracle. It will be framed and hung near our wedding photos. As I've mentioned in other threads, "This Will Be Our Year" was the first dance at our reception.
