Spin UK lists the supposed track listing — http://www.spincds.com/coming-soon/comp ... mshell-box — but... it doesn't appear to include their killer cover of Neil Young's Buffalo Springfield classic "On the Way Home" which was included as a free 1-track promo CD giveaway in indie stores with Under the Covers Vol. 1 and also appeared on a Shout Factory download-only sampler. I am hoping this omission is a mistake in the track listing! It SHOULD be included!!!

This happens all too frequently. I "won" one time: Iain Matthews self released 5 cd's of rarities in the early 90's. They were released one at a time, & of course one had to buy the box to get #5. I actually managed to sell 1-4 indibidually on ebay for more then I paid for the box!
Doubt that would be the case here: different times & these were pressed in a much larger quantity then the Matthews.

Apparently missing in action are the aforementioned "On The Way Home" as well as the Japanese Vol. 1 CD bonus track cover of The Easybeats' "Sorry".

A good one. Come on Edsel! You can do better. At least the bonus tracks from the Pillowcase EP get their first CD release.

Especially when the title is Completely Under the Covers, insinuating it is the complete works. I'm not on FB by choice, but anyone know how to send a message to either Matthew or Susanna there or anywhere else asking them if this is true that these two tracks are not included for some reason? I'm hopeful, given the release is still at least two months off, that Spin just got it wrong (and they have before).

I really can't believe they "forgot" these two songs, so I am HOPING it's just an error in the listing on Spin. The other possibility would be they couldn't obtain use of the two tracks for some reason. The fact that Neil Young wrote "On the Way Home" makes me wonder, but that wouldn't explain "Sorry" being missing as well. I hope someone with contacts or authority can weigh in on this.

I've never heard of Neil refusing to let other cover his music. In fact the only instance that comes to my mind is when Prince wouldn't let Weird Al so Purple Rain.

Also missing is Matthew and Susanna's cover of "Got To Get You Into My Life", from the soundtrack of the Eddie Murphy movie "Imagine That" (although the song was not on any of the "Under The Covers" albums)

The set includes Cinnamon Girl so that's not the case with Neil

Found another missing track: a cover of Neil Young's on The beach from an uncut mag cd called Like a Hurricane.
Hmmm, I think not. According to what I just researched, "On the Beach" is by The Walkabouts. MS an SH do "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere," from Under the Covers Vol. 1. Here's the tracklist for the Uncut CD: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Like-A-H ... se/1162372
By my count, there are three songs missing from this upcoming set which should be more accurately re-titled Almost Completely Under the Covers: "On The Way Home," "Sorry" and "Got To Get You Into My Life." Very frustrating that this set would be complete, were it not for these three lone tracks.
