Description
Gregg Allman is one of the most acclaimed, beloved, and awarded icons in rock and roll history. As a founding member of the legendary Allman Brothers Band and in his own storied solo career, Allman has long been a gifted, natural interpreter of the blues; his soulful and distinctive voice is one of the defining sounds in the history of American music. Although the Allman Brothers wrapped up their forty-five year career in 2014, Gregg Allman shows no signs of slowing down. With the help of his 8-piece band and special guest Devon Allman, Gregg delivers ferociously high-energy and emotive performances. Bump: Added tracklists to the first post. The first two discs (marked "Audio") show what appears on the two CDs or two LPs. The third disc (marked "Video") show what's on the DVD or Blu-ray. These tracklists are the same across all the various configurations.

Both the 2 cd and the 2cd/dvd are listed as "unavailable" through Amazon....not sure whether they got cancelled or what.

No, they're still on. Amazon has been working on a systemwide issue where a bunch of pre-orders have gone dormant. The listings will be back, Mike, don't worry.

That seemed to happen w/the new Kasey Chambers CD - it showed up as unavailable during the pre-order time, but on Friday, it was there to add to your cart. (Thank goodness this isn't a confessional, or I'd have to admit in front of Linda that I had it in my cart but bought it at a B&M. :shock:

)

Guys,

Having spoken with Amazon about this twice (so far), I know that they're aware of the problem and are working on it. It's not just these Greg Allman pre-orders that have gone dormant.

The copies which were already pre-ordered remain in the system and will be shipped out on schedule. Going by what happened with the few problem titles in last week's releases, at the very least these Allman listings should reappear for ordering a few hours before midnight on Friday. Hopefully this will be fixed before then, though. Also asleep are the new Keith Richards, the new Joe Jackson, the two McCartney remasters and a few other pre-order listings.

Yes, that's right. The Henley album can't be pre-ordered right now, but if you had already pre-ordered it when the listing was live, your order will remain in place.

Allman must be being distributed by 'Universal' because the new Taste DVD,BluRay is impossible to put an order in as well.

Okay, I finally made it up the chain of command to a truly knowlegeable tech and he understood me -- Amazon is repairing all the dormant pre-order listings right now. Their music department is lighting up like a Christmas tree!

This is a great CD/DVD
Gregg is playing/singing better than he has in years.
The sound, performance is superior to the last few Allman DVDs
Was a big surprise to me how good it is

I saw Gregg a couple of years ago at a theatre in New Hampshire and he and his band smoked!

They did a "Hot 'Lanta" that would have made Duane Allman proud.
