A very interesting and almost worthwhile comp here.
Looks like only studio cuts, so no live versions.
This is also the first comp I know of to include Imaginos songs which is nice.
Only a few glaring omissions here and a few head-scratchers included.
I love BOC, and still listen to the Complete Albums box often.

I just randomly picked this thread because it was at the top of the page; but ENOUGH of 10 best of's per just about every classic rock artist that ever existed! At least go hi-res & give me a reason to buy it. Or go Quad for Linda, or 5.1 for Rick & John.................. Just give us some bloody reason to buy the same music for the 10th time!

The label really missed the chance with the box set to include the quad remixes of Tyranny and Mutation and Secret Treaties - especially T&M, which the band recorded extra fills for to use in the mix.
One of these days I really need to do a needle drop transfer of those since they'll apparently never see a digital release.

I love BOC, and still listen to the Complete Albums box often. I got that box and it's great -- all the BOC I'll ever really need. Unless Jimbo bullies me into buying some of the more recent stuff on our next Jimbo Lunch.

I never understand why every one of these comps leaves off "Deadline". I thought it got a decent amount of play back in the day. Chris...if you don't have them, "Heaven Forbid" and "The Curse Of The Hidden Mirror" are worthwhile. In fact, the latter is quite excellent IMHO.

I never heard "Deadline" on the radio or anything from that album actually even though it's a great album (I maybe heard "Black Blade" once or twice). How "Dominance and Submission" and "Perfect Water" are absent here is a mystery, and why is "True Confessions" on here?

Maybe we need to do another Smiff Lunch (I feel dirty just typing that) up in Concord again sometime to search for those. Hit Pitchfork and Hermano's like we did a coupla years back.

You know what Chris...I'd do that in spite of Smiff and your Kid Rock fetish!
