That is odd that there is no clean single version of Take it Away. Glad I have Wingspan.
It's also interesting that they are remixing this album. I wonder if they would change the album and make Tug of War and Take it Away not segue together..?

Supposedly, George Harrison was supposed to contribute the guitar solo(s) to "Wanderlust", but ultimately didn't because of a scheduling conflict. This of course being when they were on friendlier terms in the wake of John's death. Would have loved to hear that. Just the fact that George would even consider playing on one of Paul's solo albums is probably a miracle in itself!
Don't worry, Tom, that's McCartney's webstore and the titles are still in the process of going up for pre-order -- I don't believe that anything has sold out yet -- and general release editions will be available soon.

It looks like they are limiting the Super Deluxe to 1000 copies. I'm hoping there will be a small allocation to Amazon.

Well, it looks like you were correct, Tom -- that SDE of Tug Of War is exclusive to Macca's webstore, and it appears to be unavailable already.
The general release editions of Tug Of War and Pipes Of Peace have now been posted at Amazon. (Unfortunately, there is so far no sign of the Super Deluxe there.) Opening prices are not as good as at the McCartney webstore, but I do expect Amazon to end up lower by the release date ....

I have not been buying the Deluxe sets - opting instead for the 2-disc "Special" editions. The boxes are just too pricey for me. That said, I'm kinda PO'd that he's not making the original mixes available unless you spring for the Deluxe box. I guess I'll blatantly just say that I'll be looking for FLAC versions of the original mixes & leave it at that.
