Description
LAMBERT AND STAMP tells the remarkable story of Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert, aspiring filmmakers who set out to find a subject for their underground movie, leading them to discover, mentor, and manage the iconic band that would become known as THE WHO. They forged a complex and moving relationship, fueling the band’s artistic development and leaving an indelible imprint on their time and generations to come. The film is charged with a mad concoction of noise, love, rebellion, artistry, and hilarity, as it takes us along on the surprising ride of two men who shaped one of the most exciting bands of all time.

A documentary featuring Who music and General Zod's bro?

You don't have to sell me twice!

I certainly want to see this--but I'm also wondering whether the making of "Quadrophenia" documentary from a couple of years ago was ever released as anything other than a download? I'm trying to search for it on Amazon, but can't remember what it was called.

If you mean A Way Of Life: Making Quadrophenia, that hasn't yet been released on DVD or Blu-ray.

Was that different than Quadrophenia: Can You See The Real Me, which was on Palladia and VH1Classic? I haven't found that on DVD, either.

Two different documentaries, both made around the same time. Quadrophenia: Can You See The Real Me? is more about the album than the movie. It's downloadable, but there's no physical release:

A Way Of Life: Making Quadrophenia is more about the movie than the album.

I'd like to see that one, too. I have the one about the album on my DVR.

In one of the documentaries, Townshend is seen visiting the British medical facility that used to be the home of the Who's Rampart Studios. At least that's the one I've been wanting to see,

Also saw it a week ago, required viewing for Who fans but not a must own disc, very dry.
