I'm extremely saddened by this.

Great actor. Played one of the best Bond villains, and did a nice send up of himself in "Gremlins 2".

RIP

He will be missed. I'm sorry that I never saw any of the Dracula movies that made him famous---I'll have to correct that one day.

I like the fact that unlike Sir Alec Guinness, Lee was not ashamed to do genre work and I loved the way he embraced LOTR when he was cast as Saruman. It's a shame that in the theatrical movie, his role (and moving death scene) was cut out of ROTK.

It's also a shame that the movie he considered his finest work---Jinnah a biography of the founder of Pakistan---was never released in the United States.

He lived a good long life and left behind many memorable roles. Godspeed.

Bummer :(

But he had a good run. I'm impressed he worked as long as he did.

Whenever you want an example of a life fully lived, Christopher Lee is a good place to look.

Very sad news, but most impressed that it remained out of the news for a few days so family could be informed.

His charity and aid work shouldn't be overlooked either. Not only a great actor, but someone who used their fame positively.

Awww, I just watched one of his movies the other day, too. The Pirates Of Blood River (1962). Not great, but hey, they can't all be winners, and Lee was a winner - many good films.

93, eh? Well done, sir.

R.I.P. Christopher, and thanks.

Gilbert Gottfried tweeted was it a stake through the heart or a ray of sunshine that ultimately doomed him. :)

RIP, great actor and fine human.

One of the all-time greats. I'd try to figure out how many of his movies I've seen, but it would only highlight how many I haven't.
