I am always on the market for an old style, wire frame, white, comics spinner rack. The classic one with the painted metal sign that says "Hey Kids! Comics"

I've got a stand-up rack that says The best in Comics/Comics for All Ages, but not a spinner rack.

Gotta be "the One." Gotta spin. I have an assortment of straight racks in my "area" of the basement. But they don't say "Hey Kids! Comics!" Nor do they spin. Sigh.

Scout out the local flea markets, Jay. That's where my wife found mine. :)

Same here. Well, Frank's wife didn't find mine.

Got it from my LCS owner about 5 years ago.

I know he has at least one more. I can ask if he'd be interested in selling it if you're still looking, Jay.

So we've been spending our weekends scouring flea markets and garage sales trying to help Jay out... meanwhile Jay is sitting on a pile of spinner racks.

Remember, there have been pictures before. This one seems to be when I informed everyone:

Wow, that's nice. What is that, four sides? Four is almost as much as five.

Get back to scouring!

If I saw one that looked even better, and did say "Hey Kids! Comics!", it could be in play.

Are you always rotating new comics in the rack?

Yes, but I'm not that faithful at keeping up with it.

I choose a month/year and stock it with old comics from that month. Then after that, add another month. And so on.

I would love one, but not at the prices they go for.

Despite growing up with spinner racks, I have little nostalgia for them. I just think of comics with bends and folds in them created by people flipping through the magazines. I like displaying the comics like they do behind the counter in comic shops.

I asked you before but I forgot your answer. How are you holding them to the wall?

They only bent the comics because of the idiots that would flip through them before you got there. The challenge was to find a copy that was not bent. Sometimes you had to take the best condition possible if you wanted a copy at all. It was part of the fun.

Double-sided mounting tape from 3M.
