Here's the classic Daredevil logo:

In the next issue, #43, Marvel tried this freehand oddity:

Before settling on "Dare-Devil" for the next few issues:

What comic book logo redesigns have you disliked (or liked, or wondered "WTF?" about) over the years?

I can't recall really disliking any, but that Dare-Devil one is odious.

The 90s Amazing Spider-Man logo. Ugh.

Way to mess with a classic:

One character whose logo has always been awesome no matter what changes were made is Batman. I don't remember ever disliking any of them.

My favorites:

This Jim Lee redesign:

Thor's logo redesign was great. Way better than the one with the serrated edges.

The Hulk may have had more frequent logo changes than any other comic I can think of.

Walt's Thor one was one of the best redesigns I can remember.

Agreed with messing with the Spider-man one. That and Fantastic Four are classics that shouldn't be messed with.

Mighty Thor (sorry Walt)
Invincible Iron Man
Avengers
Superman
Action Comics
Detective Comics

Other than first one was best and most classic

I liked Walt's X-Factor logo. Though I heard that he had swiped it from a porno.

Jim Steranko's X-Men logo redesign is also a classic.

Avengers with the A arrow design is also my favorite redesign.

It's pretty good. A lot of these are pretty good in several versions.

Original Daredevil is not good.

Of all the logos for me to care about, I really liked ... get ready ... SHOWCASE.
Weird, huh?

You had Mark Waid and Mike Weringo doing FF, but then you slap that terrible, terrible WTF-worthy logo on it?
