It was pretty good, I thought. I think a lot of its charm, though, was that it was only eight episodes long. And I think it will do well again with a new storyline for that same length of episodes.
In general, I think that's a nice strategy for any show running 20+ episodes a season. Break it down into a first and second half, then show a companion series in between.
I'm in. So what I think would be neat is to jump the show forward in time with each season. Set it more firmly in the later 50s and give us some good Cold War spy action. Maybe jump each season by a decade.

Yeah [SPOILERS AHEAD], Morgan's nemesis is in a semi-permanent coma/vegetative state and the Detective has apparently uncovered his secret, we learned he wasn't able to be killed with the gun that theoretically gave him his immortality. Most of Season One's issues were neatly wrapped up in the finale. Another 10 minutes or so, where he discusses his immortality, she reacts, etc. etc. were about all that were really needed to give the series finality. After that, the writers were going to have to come up with all new ways to build upon the show. Still, the main characters were so appealing as an ensemble cast, I would have enjoyed seeing what was next.
allow us to assume how things resolved between the Henry and Jo. But Henry might not have "died" from the gun for a variety of reasons. Maybe he (or Abe) altered the gun to make it safe (like changed a component) - but kept the original component so they could restore it, in case he wanted to end things, and Adam didn't know that.
It seems hard to believe that Adam is "Ceasar" since Ceasar's body would have been around long after his death, but Adam might have been part of that group, later killed with his own dagger, or just coincidentally killed with one of the daggers that also killed Ceasar.
Anyway, while I would have liked to have seen more, it ended well enough so that I don't feel as cheated as I have with other prematurely ended series I have liked.

I watched the last episode and was so happy that it seemed things were where I wanted them to. Then I turned on my computer and the very first thing I read was the announcement it was cancelled. Gut punch. I'll agree though, a good note to end on if it had to now.

(Based on Tuesday, there might be more interest in another comic book entry. The CW aired a special in anticipation of Legends of Tomorrow, and it averaged a 0.9 rating in the key demo.)
CBS easily topped the night thanks to NCIS. The drama, off three-tenths of a point from its last original, still took in a robust 2.4 rating among adults 18-49. NCIS: New Orleans spilled from its season high, averaging a 1.8 in the key demo before a new Limitless (1.2 adults).
Hollywood Game Night (1.2 adults) held steady on NBC, while Chicago Med (1.6 adults) dropped ahead of a steady Chicago Fire (1.7 adults). Fox comedies — New Girl (1.3 adults), Grandfathered (0.9 adults), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.1 adults), The Grinder (0.8 adults) were steady.

I think this will be the start of the actual Shield and they want to connect it to Agents of SHIELD. But I'm biased and will pretty much watch Haley Atwell in anything at this point.
