I rarely watch TV shows anymore but I am enjoying "The Returned" on A&E and "iZombie" on the CW.
"The Returned" could use some better logic in their stories but the cast makes up for whatever's missing plot-wise. I like the humor in "iZombie" and the dialogue- and that it doesn't take itself so seriously. Plus Rose McIver makes a cute goth-zombie.

I was a big fan of the French version of "The Returned" so I need to catch up with this American version. I've also totally missed iZombie.

It was on either IFC or Sundown not long ago but I forgot to tape it. Hopefully they'll rebroadcast it soon.

I've given up on Gotham and Marvels Agents Of Shield but still enjoy The Following and The Blacklist.

Never could get into The Following which is expected to be cancelled after this season as the ratings have plummeted. The Walking Dead finale was excellent this week. Fear of the Walking Dead begins this summer as well as Season 2 of The Strain. Is Penny Dreadful worthy? I see Season 2 is starting soon. And, of course Game of Thrones is next week.

Really liked the Frank Sinatra documentary by HBO this evening. As usually with all HBO docs they seem to the best. Looking forward to Part 2 tomorrow.

Rick A. I saw a bit of this on last Sunday's CBS This Morning and it looks fantastic. Sinatra was the real deal.

New season of Louie and debut of The Comedians this Thursday I believe. Both on FX.

I love Louie - one of the best-written shows on TV. Kudos to Louis CK for keeping total control.

HBO has a two-part, four-hour documentary on Frank Sinatra now. Absolutely riveting. It's kind of easy to forget what a great singer he was because of how things finished, but damn, that man could sing (thanks, Captain Obvious!). They showed most of "My Way" from his retirement concert - stunning. It was fascinating to hear so much of the story told in Frank's uncensored words. Highly recommended.

I need to see that. Saw a preview 2 weeks ago on CBS Sunday Morning (which is on right now) and it looked fantastic.

Atari: Game Over (currently airing on Showtime). 30 years ago, did Atari bury millions of unsold cartridges of its notorious E.T. video game flop in a New Mexico landfill, hastening the collapse of the company? This irreverent documentary seeks to (literally) get to the bottom of this urban legend. Directed and narrated by noted comic-book-movie screenwriter Zak Penn. Of special interest to anybody who grew up playing Atari games.

One wierd thing about Louie is the intro credit sequence must have been filmed a few years ago because he looks much slimmer and younger than when they switch to present day Louie who has gained a few pounds.

Guests on Saturday's new episode of That Metal Show: Ace Frehley and Mark Farner. I wanna see if they ask Farner about his politics.

Its out there if people want to know, the Metal guys pretty much stick to the music or if politics it is within the band. They did asked how & why GFR screwed him. He wrote over 90% of the tracks and Brewer set him up. Rick A.
