All new for 2015! This artfully packaged, 3-CD collection, Directly From My Heart, features 64 of Little Richard's best-loved songs from his time at the Specialty and Vee-Jay labels. With material ranging from the mid 1950s through the mid 1960s, the collection has such hits as 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On,' 'Tutti Frutti' and 'I Don't Know What You've Got but It's Got Me.' Also included is a 30-plus page illustrated booklet featuring a handful of rare photos plus new liner notes by singer/songwriter/music historian Billy Vera.

One would hope that the early titles are the Specialty originals.
Some of his Vee-Jay tracks are not up to snuff, but otherwise you can never have enough Little Richard.

A long time ago I picked up the European version the Specialty Sessions Boxed Set - it is a 8 disc set of that material - great if you like lots of out takes and false starts. I will be picking this up for the Vee Jay material.

That European Specialty box is a great one. I still play it often.
