10,000 Maniacs have announced that they will be releasing their new studio album, "Twice Told Tales", on April 28th on 180-gram vinyl LP format and on compact disc.
The album will feature the band's take on a collection of traditional British Isles folk songs. 10,000 Maniacs Dennis Drew explains, "Folk music of all types has been a strong influence on the band.
"One of the songs on the new record 'Do You Love An Apple' has been in our repertoire for 30 years. We've also recorded Carter family songs and other American, Irish and British Folk music in the past."

My friend Maureen really enjoyed the show.

they removed "peace train" from the "in my tribe" album during the cat stevens/muslim controversy and re-released the album with something else inits place.
it was quite the collectors item for a while.
