Description
Dave Edmunds produces his first ever completely Instrumental album. Includes seven totally brand new recordings. The album features classic pop songs favoured by Dave for their arrangements and reinterpreted by Dave as guitar pieces. Plus traditional picking tunes arranged by Dave, influenced by his favourite guitar pickers such as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed. Third album of Edmunds' work on RPM following the successful release in 2013 of the albums AGAIN and the expanded edition of Subtle As A Flying Mallet.

"Your Song" seems like an odd choice, but I like the country-pickin' Mozart in the above clip!

Mr. Edmunds is my favourite guitarist, and I have all of his solo and group albums, but this one simply bores me. Some of the versions are cringe worthy. I think it's time for Dave to get back in the groove with real musicians and not multi-tracked instruments with drum machine backings.

Too bad about the drum machine. Likely did it by himself on the cheap. His last few have not sold well.
