I just had a revelation. This APO SACD of Nugent's CBS debut is THE best sounding hard rock digital release I have ever heard. Put this edition on your SACD player, turn it up LOUD, & you may learn why I complain so much about brickwalling. The sound quality is STUNNING (& the louder the better); & this is of course a classic & his best solo album.

From a sound perspective, I usually set my volume control around 10 O'Clock. This one is so good, it's at noon, & I'm in musical nirvana.

Because the man is such a nutcase & has released a ton of mediocre albums (I like all of the Amboy Dukes & the first 2 CBS albums, this one & Free For All), it's easy to forget what a monster guitarist he was & how awesome this album is.

It's tough to beat Double Live Gonzo. That was my first Ted album.
