MMm pizza.

In Vancouver, near Broadway and Commercial, there is a place called Uncle Fatih's Pizza with the best pizza ever. Potato pizza. Trust me on this!

You can't have pizza in Canada, especially if you make something called "potato pizza". Tomorrow I'm headed to the only city you can buy a REAL pizza in, Chicago. New York style isn't too bad either, but nothing beats a good Chitown deep-dish. One of the few things I miss from my years living there.

Canadian Pizza ain't bad. There's a place about a mile down the street from me called "Can-Am Pizza."

In all seriousness, I'd like to try those. :) That was just my halfassed way of tossing out that I'm going out of town for a few days.

If you aren't in NY, it's only an inferior copy.

Incorrect...in fact it's exactly backwards. If it isn't CHICAGO, it's an inferior copy. Deep dish > NY thin crust style.

Back when I was in college, Domino's Pizza started something called the "Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza".

My. God!

Your arteries would harden just from the smell. My roomates and I ordered one once, and when you opened the box....I shit you not.....pools of grease so large you could swim in them covering the pizza. I was gagging and salivating all at the same time.

Small Ethiopian villages could live for a week on the protein provided by that damned thing.

I grew up in Chicagoland, but I do not like deep dish pizza at all. Had I wanted a loaf of bread, I would have ordered one.

Thin crust all the way for me. Fortunately, they make that kind quite well here, too!

A treat from Tim Hortons, a Canadian donut chain. It is the "center" of the donut. A little ball...

This thread makes me miss home.

NY Style by way of Philly.

I am amazed how many places cant get pizza right. I am outside DC. Just 2 hours outside of Philly. And there is hardly a place that can get pizza close to right.

My Wife -from Ohio -enjoys the Chicago Variety.
Pizza night here is never a good one. Always someone disappointed-Usually both.

We've got those down here. They're called "Munchkins" at the Dunkin Donuts chain.

Sorry. Wrong.

Deep dish makes me puke.

and pizza only tastes right in NY.

We have the good water.

There are other places where it is ok and all, but it is not quite right. and some places it is just truly awful.
