Been looking forward to this one since her 99th birthday celebration last year. And 5 straight days? I've been looking forward to that since the last time they did it for her 90th birthday 10 years ago.

A few years back WKCR chronologically played everything Benny Goodman ever recorded 24/7 - took nearly three weeks! My favorite is the late-August Bird-Prez celebration!

I remember that Benny Goodman special. My favorites are the two Louis Armstrong Birthday Broadcasts. Only Louis deserves two such days.
