he did a solo album years ago on the short lived "Guitar" label that i think Neil Young guested on also.

Listening to the Heavy Blues audio makes me think a Frampton/Bachman band would be a really good idea! Between supporting a new album and playing their hits, their live show would be amazing.

That actually sounds like a very good idea. :thumbsup: They can mix it up playing some of their classic stuff but make the main show the blues.

there is neil young - randy bachman song on a various artists album called 'twang", they play "spring is nearly here".

the album is a tribute to hank marvin and the shadows.

it is a pretty rare neil young track....no vocals by the way.

Randy and Neil have paired up a few times. I went to Bachman's site last night to look over his discography and I saw Neil mentioned as guesting on three albums prior to Heavy Blues, if I remember correctly.
