Bubbles did a 24 hour Groundhog Day marathon at a local theater yesterday. Reward for sticking it out was 24 movie tickets. He made it!

Part of the deal was that an optional $15 concession stand pass got you unlimited popcorn, soda and nachos.

My supervisor sent it around the office for a laugh, but us city folk don't know nothing. Our colleague at New Bolton Center in the country wrote back saying we shouldn't laugh- years ago there was a groundhog colony housed in hutches in a field adjacent to the semi-feral pony herd. Apparently there's still one living near their the Tenant House where they're officed.

We had a groundhog in our backyard. S/he was brazen and would eat all of our lettuce and peas as soon as they emerged. There are several dens around the neighborhood and we are in the city.
