Most people more fondly remember the opening credits to the Pink Panther films than the films themselves. So much so that the cartoon cat, which was originally created just for the credits, became a star in his own right.
So I'm presenting you, courtesy of YouTube, all of the credits from the Pink Panther films. Even the ones that didn't say "Pink Panther" in the title.
A Shot In The Dark may not have The Pink Panther, but this is where "The Inspector" theme music from The Pink Panther cartoon came from:
If you want to win a bet, ask somebody if they can name the first actor other than Peter Sellers to play Inspector Jacques Cousteau in the movies. Most will say Steve Martin. Others will say Roberto Benigni. The answer is Alan Arkin.
The following is where the series officially became The Pink Panther series again for good. Oh, if only all films could have credits animated by the Richard Williams Studios!
Sadly, these titles weren't animated by the Richard Williams studio. Even sadder, this was the last Peter Sellers Pink Panther movie.
Peter Sellers' death didn't stop Blake Edwards from trying to make one more Peter Sellers' Pink Panther movie from unused footage:

If the opening to Steve Martin's debut as Inspector Clouseau looks familiar, it's because Bob Kurtz (of Kurtz & Friends) clearly wanted to pay homage to Richard Williams' animation for ROTPP. I also like the new look of the animated Inspector Clouseau. Not only does he look like Steve Martin, he MOVES like Steve Martin, too.
