It's time for the 2015 Concerts thread.................. :birthday4:

This first post in this thread will probably be the most insane post of the year. This is my last big month for awhile......then I'm going "cold lukewarm room temperature turkey." Money, vacation time, and energy level are running low.

Charles in January.....................
1/2 - Darlene Love - BB Kings, NYC
1//9 - Little Anthony & The Imperials - Bergen Pefrorming Arts Center, Englewood, NJ
1/10 - Lydia Lunch - Rough Trade, Brooklyn, NY
1/15-16-17 - The Radiators - Tipitina's, New Orleans, LA
1/23-24 - Patti Smith - The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA
1/26 - Patti Smith - Rio Theater, Santa Cruz, CA
1/29 - Billy Idol - Wellmont Theater, Montclair, NJ
1/31 - The Smithereens - BB Kings, NYC

I may be here in Ogden Utah but here are a few shows I'm looking forward to:

1/9 Randy Rogers Band - Depot SLC
3/23 Gaslight Anthem - Depot SLC
4/11 Todd Rundgren - Egyptian Theatre Park City UT
5/5 They Might Be Giants - Depot SLC

So, contrary to popular belief there are great shows here in Utah... :yay:

4/22 Kaiser Chiefs - Showbox At The Market
5/10 Neil Diamond - KeyArena
9/27 The Who/Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - Key Arena

Thinking about Elvis Costello & Steve Nieve at the Moore in March, but I think I'd rather wait until he comes back around with the rest of the Imposters.

The Alan Parsons Project show, which was scheduled for this Thursday (1/29) was postponed 'til Tuesday (2/3) because of the blizzard. Happily, John and I were able to reschedule.

Well, then when will the 'til Tuesday show be?

Mark Knopfler tix on sale later this week. And I'm probably going to pick up a ticket for Mastodon and Clutch in May. Thinking about Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless in May, but it's close to Mastodon.

Just got in from Patti Smith's 2nd show at Ace Theater in Los Angeles. It's impressive that she still has the power to move me as much as she does. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time, and now I'm even more excited for Monday's show at the Roxy.

A very quiet start to the year for me (as I don't like to go out in the cold much) but we have Alan Parsons this Tuesday in NYC and later this year:

Jeff Beck on LI April 16th
The Who at Nassau May 20th
The Who at Forest Hills May 30th
Rush at MSG June 29th
U2 at MSG July 26th.

Grabbed a ticket for Mark Knopfler. I saw Dire Straits the only time they were here, and I believe this may be his first solo appearance here.

Stop by my sister's coffee shop, Coffee Labs, that's next door to the Music Hall in Tarrytown.

The setlist looks good, 23 songs in total with an intermision and 2 encore songs. Tonight we are celebrating Jimbo's belated birthday. I'm thinking maybe John's Of Times Square for dinner!
