That one was fun. I always thought they should go to White Castles and meet Popeye and Wimpy afterwards, where Ol' Pop Castle was running the place.

I still have a hard time believing that this ever happened. People have assured me that it did, though.

Shame, seems like the possibility was there for something special. Similar to Superman/Alien or Batman/Predator stuff, where two really foreign concepts that when mixed together, end up producing something quite good.

I don't think they're great, but I don't think they're terrible. I appreciate the sheer "out there"-ness of the idea, and didn't mind 'em from that perspective. It DID bug me though that the X-MEN/TNG crossover book wasn't self-contained, and you had to buy a novel to see how it ended. Needless to say, I didn't.

And going back to the initial post in this thread, I LOVE the Punisher/Archie book. Like someone else said, who said comics can't be fun?

I thought Punisher/Archie did a fine job of never crossing the line too far and telling a pretty fun story.

That's the one I have.

They never published the promised sequel, Wolverine vs Jughead. Bastards.
