I though some of you might be interested to know that Tufts University has an open courseware for the free open source 3d graphic and animation software Blender that seems very comprehensive.

Fourteen lessons totaled and each less has PDF tutorials as well as great video lessons that can be downloaded. Lesson One, "The Blender Interface" looks like this:

Most here already have experience with this app and this has probably been shared here before, but I thought I would post this just in case.
