Couldn't you have just posed this question in the Supreme Power thread
we already have?

Yes, but I didn't want to.

I voted for the new kids.

The old kids are lamoid copies. The new kids are a bit more original, plus they seem meaner.

I think the "old kids" could be made cool again with the right creative team... course that'll never happen now that there's Supreme Power.

The original Squadron was quite cool. I agree with Darin, that with the right creative team they could still be cool. The new "kids" are obvious, post-modern output ground out of the "what if super-heroes were real and sadistic" sausage machine.

I want my Squadron Supreme back.

Been re-reading JMS' Squadron stuff, started out interesting but just like with the Ultimates, it ends up being too superheroish. What were the end results for these characters?

It was never completed by JMS.

Wikipedia mentioned the following:

Quote:
Later, the members of Squadron Supreme are apparently killed by Namor and the Cabal after the villains raid the Squadron's universe.[7]

I'm so glad I invested all that time and money into these characters.

That's what I thought too though it had already went downhill, especially with the crossovers.

He does. He's the Rob Liefeld of writers.

One would think Rob Liefeld is the Rob Liefeld of writers. But he's not, it's JMS.

In fact, Rob Liefeld created Shatterstar, who is the first superhero with a sword that has TWO blades attached to the hilt.

So I think the comic community owes Mr. Liefeld an apology.

One might say he's the MAXIMUM amount of AWESOME to the EXTREME.

One might say that. If one was on crack.

He has had three endeavors -- Extreme Studios, Maximum Press, and Awesome Entertainment.

The man is a WIZARD of entertainment.
