So, this is apparently the worst skit SNL ever made. Not only is it bad, and unfunny, Leslie Jones has this awkward deer in the headlights moment about 1:30 in.

I don't know, personally...I still watch SNL regularly, but this season....phew....so bad.

I'd say the entire Michael Phelps/Li'l Wayne episode was worse than that single sketch. I'd have to watch them both again to be absolutely sure, but I'd really rather not.

Also, Chris Rock hosts the show, and he doesn't do a Nat X sketch? FAIL.

Rock seemed stiff, and uncomfortable the whole time. You'd never know he'd spent most of his career in front of a live audience.

That sketch wasn't great, but I can remember worse ones.

Generally speaking, I find "SNL" to be massively overrated.

It's the Stan Lee of late-night comedy shows.

Lorne Michaels is a terrific writer, though.

i think he's a great showrunner, PR man and story editor, but writer? What has he written?

The recent Jim Carrey episode was good. Beyond a sketch or two here and there its only worth watching when Timberlake is on.

I got 46 seconds into it and bailed.

They really need to try harder; there's no way I was sitting through four whole minutes of that.

Thoughts on the cast? Kate MacKinnon is quite good.

Anyone who calls that the worst sketch ever has clearly not seen the 1985-86 season.

That wasn't the worst one, the one before it where all the black actors in the cast debating whether Obama has failed them was a new low. Would have been better if the guy who plays Obama would have shown up.

At least they won't try to make this a recurring sketch. Or will they? The first time I saw Mike Myers doing his kid-in-the-bathtub thing I remember thinking "well, at least we won't be seeing this one again." Boy, was I wrong.

I stopped watching SNL a couple of years ago.

I was recording it and pretty much fast-forwarding through most of it. If a sketch didn't click for me in the first minute, skip!

I realized after watching the 2012 season premiere that I'd been watching in vain for years, hoping for something good to come on. Very occasionally, it did, but it was a lost cause.

If I hear about something like the Barry Gibb skit with Barry Gibb, I can watch it online.

But I'm glad I moved on.
