I just assumed they culled all the TOS stuff from your posts in that other thread.
Seriously, though, I've been rewatching (or watching for the first time for most episodes) Deep Space Nine. I really didn't appreciate how great that spinoff was.

It got it's sea legs a LOT faster than TNG did. By the end of Season 2, I'd say DS9 had itself figured out.
And then they threw Worf and the Klingons in, along with the Mirror Universe, and just made it better.
Although, the episodes with Lwaxana Troi annoy the shit out of me. I can not figure out why they kept bringing her back after Roddenberry died.

This is actually too hard for me to do. I'd have to refamiliarize myself with far too many episodes to properly place them in order, and that would take a long time, even if I had access to all of them, which I don't. Unlike TOS, I haven't seen each series multiple times, let alone each episode half a dozen times or more.
But I did quickly order the TOS from best to worst (more or less).

The top 100 episodes of Star Trek. They even included a few Enterprise and Animated Series episodes. I can't say I really disagree or immediately noticed any obvious omissions. What say you all? Tribbles is way too high.

Majel Barrett played a brunette as #1, a blonde as Nurse Chapel, but I don't recall her as a redhead in her younger years. Was she a redhead at some point in TOS?

I never noticed that. What episode was that? I can miss color changes so easily. Green Goats. I mean, come on. Operation--Annihilate!? I just watched that, and I didn't even notice. When it comes to colors, I'm more blind than Spock.

Although, the episodes with Lwaxana Troi annoy the shit out of me. I can not figure out why they kept bringing her back after Roddenberry died. DS9 was marvelous. (Although apparently a certain dude who calls himself Uncle Twitchy violently disagrees.) As I recall there were only two Lwaxana Troi episodes of DS9, which is really not so bad.

I could be wrong, but I think Peter David did a novel where he explains why all of those Majel Barrett characters look the same. That guy is the John Byrne of Star Trek novels.

Good to see Tuvix in there (#56) - one of my favourite 'ethical conundrum' episodes of any TV show, ever.
I also agree with the comments about Darmok; although the linguistic conceit isn't that well thought-out, it's still a well acted and engaging episode, IMO.

Doot, I can't without spoilers. Let's just say I found it to be one of the most poignant Star Trek episodes.

If you're into Trek novels, there are a couple of sequels to that story. I remember them as being pretty good. A lot of TOS novels in the 80s and 90s are outstanding. A lot of them are pretty awful too, unfortunately.

One of my favorite of the Bantam Trek novels was a sequel to that story. I will not tell the title because it is a spoiler.

Balance of Terror, #1, Baby! Nice. It's normally in the top five, but rarely #1. #24 is my favorite Deep Space Nine episode, Duet, but I never saw too many of those.
