Titled 'Gentle Giant Live At The Bicentennial', the recording was taken from a concert on July 3rd 1976 at the Calderone Theater, Hempstead, Long Island, USA, which was broadcast for a local radio station. The band heard this recording for the first time only recently! There are no overdubs or other enhancements on this very live recording. It features Gentle Giant unedite, uninhibited and unrepentant. The concert features the best-remembered music from past recordings as well as rare songs from the album 'Interview' which the band was supporting at that time.

I won't buy this until reviews are out, got bitten badly with the 5 CD box set of terrible Audience recordings last year.

Not sure what they mean by "very live," but I'm hoping the fact that it's "official" and it's taken from a radio broadcast, the quality could be decent.

I see that Amazon UK has a pre-order link up now (added to the first post). It's considerably more expensive than the Amazon USA link, however, the American listing currently shows it as "1" CD. Is there a one-disc version coming too, or is that just an error? The price difference makes me want to ordering from the American listing.
