Although the extraordinary guest artists on MY DREAM DUETS are no longer with us, Manilow's mission is to ensure their immortal voices live on to excite and entertain all generations of music lovers.
Thank God we have Barry to ensure that these immortal voices will live on! I'm sure no one would ever again listen to Judy Garland, Dusty or Louis Armstrong without Barry's efforts. Does Clive Davis have a hand in this?

Yeah, it's got to be at least two days since I listened to any Louis Armstrong.

i couldn't have said it any better.
i quite liked his "here at the mayflower" collection and thought it was worthwhile. this release would seem to be the worst of the rest of his 'covers' recordings.

Brooklyn OWNS this charmer!
The album ideas are getting worse...the album covers are looking cheaper and cheaper...time to pack it in, Barry. I was excited when I heard he was finally working on a sequel to 2AM Paradise Cafe (his best album, IMO), and when that turned out to be Night Songs - with NO JAZZ BACKING AT ALL - that ended my "Fanilow-ship".

In keeping with the theme, I see he has contracted with a mortician to do his makeup. And you have to admit there couldn’t be a better release date for this than the Tuesday prior to Halloween/Day of the Dead.
