Saw the last live Monty Python show today, simulcast in a theater. Very cool, and as expected, very funny. They hit all the high points I'd expected (with maybe one exception) and pulled out a couple surprises that, even though I love them, I never would have expected. They used some of the old animations with new audio, and a bit of old video. And they did a lot of new transitions into and out of some of the skits. Graham Chapman was most certainly not forgotten, in video and in word. During the pre-show video, they even hinted that there might be a sequel called "Two Down, Four To Go".
Some of the skits didn't work quite as well in a live setting - the timing was thrown off just a bit. But by and large, it all worked beautifully. And I had tears in my eyes during "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life".
There were several moments where the guys lost it, mostly Cleese. Especially during the parrot sketch.

Sometimes performers losing it during a comedy sketch is the funniest part. Anyone remember Harvey Korman from The Carol Burnett Show? He could never keep it together when he was on stage with Tim Conway. That always cracked me up/
