The article goes on to wonder what part he could play in a Marvel movie - any ideas?

He's a bit long in the tooth now for most super heroes, but what about when he was fab? And what about now. too? Silvermane?

maybe, How about Mephisto? Or Star Lord's Dad?

I'm not sure Pacino is a good fit for a superhero movie. Marvel movies are good primarily because of the story, not bombastic characterizations and chewing of scenery. That road leads to movies like Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.

But if I had to put him in a Marvel role, I'd give him Mephisto.

Ringmaster was a good suggestion, albeit maybe too small of a role for Pacino. Mephisto? I like that a lot.
