Places 1-4 are solid. Places 5-8 are virtually tied, and I dislike the last 2.

If not for your irrational dislike of the Thor movies, I'd go for this list.

Watching Guardians a second time, it holds up better than Avengers did. The inherent coolness of Avengers is hard to match, but Guardians is a better movie. Thor: The Dark World may very well be the worst of the bunch, but I enjoyed it, so I put it over its better, but blander predecessor. Iron Man 2 remains the only one I truly dislike.

If we take it as a given that all the heroes in all the Marvel movies are awesome, then the films that stand out are defined by how good the villains are. Loki being the best of the bunch, so any film where he's the antagonist has a leg up. The remaining villains range from great (Obadiah Stane) to one-note (Ronan, Eccleston, Amy Pond) to well-done but a little too on the realistic side (Robert Redford) to actively bad (Red Skull, Whiplash, Abomination) to wait, who was the villain again? (the rich guy in Iron Man 3).

And yeah, Iron Man 2 is easy to dislike, starting from the point where drunk Iron Man has a bladder spasm.

Again with the hate for Thor & Thor 2! Yes, they fucked up the Warriors Three, and imitation Liam Neeson, Kat Dennings and Natalie Portman are the dumbest scientists this side of Prometheus, but Hemsworth and Hiddleston steal every scene they're in.

I actually liked Ronan. Not as good as Loki, but he was fun.

The worst has to be Malekith. Until you mentioned him, I actually had forgotten he even existed.

Yeah, the comic Malekith was better. I've about had my fill of badass, all-the-way evil villains with no motivation except destruction and revenge. Give me some nuance!

It's not that he was a completely evil character with no nuance; Ronan was that way too and he worked great, it's that Malekith was such a non-entity. He could've been replaced by a doorknob and no one would've noticed.

I bet they diminished his role because Eccleston was so difficult to work with.

Well, I tried watching Thor 2 again while in the hospital. My health may have have influenced my viewing pleasure,
but I lose interest in that movie just too quickly. And, admittedly, it's a lot like the Thor comic in that regard. I can
get into it for awhile, but long stetches comes of my not being the interested. I found Captain America to be like
that it the comics, but not in the movies. I am anxiously awaiting Capt 2 when it comes on early in September.

I think for me with comics and comic-based movies, it's going to come down to how much I've been waiting for it,
and who often I return to it. I did see Guardian's on a whim, and see me buying it and watching it at least 3 more times.
Capt 1 I've watched five times now. Avengers is also at five times. Iron Man is at five times. Thor is three times,
and Thor 2 is 2.8 times. The Hulk movies were twice apiece, Iron Man 2 is 2/5 times. So, based on this, and my thougts
about rather I would watch them again soon, because I am still wowed, my list would be

1. Avengers 1
2. Iron Man 1
3. Captain America 1
4. Guardians (still rather fresh, so it might fade or grow from here)
5. Iron Man 3
6. Thor 1
7. Thor 2 (as high as it is almost solely due to Tom Hiddleston).
8. Iron Man 2
9. Incredible Hulk

We'll see for Cap 2.
