From hennemusic.com:
Stevie Nicks is working on a new collection of rare songs that she hopes to release this October.
Billboard reports the set, tentatively titled "24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault", will feature lost and stray songs that she's written and recorded through the years, but never made it onto an album.
The selections for "24 Karat Gold" were all newly recorded in Nashville, and co-produced by Nicks, Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel.
Nicks says that she just recorded "18 tracks in three weeks" for the album, saying that it's the "fastest I have ever recorded."
The Fleetwood Mac singer made the comments Tuesday night during her acceptance speech at the BMI Pop Awards in Los Angeles, where she was honored with the BMI Icon award for her songwriting achievements.
"We went onto YouTube and we found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever ... and we went to Nashville (and recorded them)," Nicks told the Associated Press. "So they're like all starting from like 1969 maybe? I call them my 24 karat gold songs."
Nicks’ most recent release is 2011’s “In Your Dreams.”
Nicks and Fleetwood Mac recently announced the return of Christine McVie to the band for a North American tour this fall, with dates starting September 30 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Fleetwood Mac’s The On With The Show Tour sees the reunion of the group’s hugely successful mid-1970s lineup, which cranked out hit albums like 1975’s self-titled release, 1977’s “Rumours” and 1979’s “Tusk.”
This spring, Fleetwood Mac have been in the studio working on new music while Nicks was busy working on this solo collection.

This release is called "Milking the interest over the reunited Fleetwood Mac". If you're going to dig deep, WHERE THE HELL IS BUCKINGHAM NICKS?

This could be good, sounds like it might have songs from the "Almanac" shoe arm collection and / or songs intended for Buckingham Nicks 2. I hope it's not overproduced, the acoustic demo arrangements were outstanding as they were, I'd love to have THOSE versions on CD...

Stevie Nicks has a new album on the way, but it’s actually not that new.
According to Rolling Stone, her upcoming release 24 Karat Gold — Songs from the Vault will be out Oct. 7 on Warner Bros. and will feature songs written by Nicks between 1969 and 1987, along with another two that were written in 1994 and 1995.
In a recent interview, Nicks decided to revisit the previously lost songs after checking out the bootlegs on YouTube.
“We went onto YouTube and we found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever … and we went to Nashville (and recorded them),” Nicks said. “So they’re like all starting from like 1969 maybe? I call them my 24 karat gold songs.”
Nicks has a surprise in store for vinyl fans, who will be able to grab a copy of a limited edition double LP on Sept. 29.
“Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story,” Nicks said in a statement. “They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken hearted and the survivors. These songs are the memories — the 24 karat gold rings in the blue box. These songs are for you.”

The artwork for her upcoming album — her first since 2011′s In Your Dreams — will feature never-before-seen Polaroids taken by Nicks throughout her career. The deluxe edition of the CD release will include a book filled with 48 pages of pictures from Nicks’ private collection, along with two bonus tracks.
Starting Aug. 5, fans will get a sneak peek at Nicks’ new album via her Instagram, where she’ll be previewing the record.
Fleetwood Mac kick off their On With The Show U.S. tour Sept. 30 in Minneapolis, MN. It’s the first tour in 16 years to feature Christine McVie since she retired from the band in 1998. It also marks the band’s first trek since John McVie was diagnosed with cancer.

There is no Deluxe Edition listed on CD yet, Renny. (We still have plenty of time for it to appear, but I hope the Deluxe will be a general release and not some Stevie-website-only thing.)

"Lady" would've made a great FM song.
I agree, particularly a great one during the late-'70s. But then, I think a number of the solo songs from Stevie, Lindsey, and Christine would have sounded so much better as FM songs. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to getting this album.
--"Deluxe Photobook + Litho Album Bundle", which has the CD with 2 bonus cuts, an 8 x 8" photobook, the digital album, and an 18 x 24" lithograph, all for the "astoundingly" low price of $59.99
OR
--the "Photobook Album Only", which is the same as the above but without the lithograph, for an "amazing" bargain price of $39.99
