If anyone is into creepiness, this features several writers who are much more well known than I, but I managed to get in and make the cover!:

For Kindle $3.99: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B6DHGIE/?tag=imwan-20

Paperback $13.99: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0984978275/?tag=imwan-20

Hey, I also now have an actual author page on Amazon! http://www.amazon.com/Daniel-OConnor/e/B00B7N4USM/?tag=imwan-20

Thanks for "listening".

Hey guys, this horror anthology has been put on sale for 99 CENTS for Kindle. Not sure how long the sale runs - probably another day or two.

It includes some big horror writers, and somehow my story ("The Binding") that features a hidden nod to a certain classic rock album.

In exciting news, an Amazon reviewer compared my story to the work of Dean Koontz, and now Mr. Koontz is reading it!

DanO...I'll be tracking down a copy of the book sometime soon. Sons of the Pope was excellent and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks Steve!

BTW I see the 99 cent sale is now over. I need to be more in-the-loop! :?

Happy to say this horror short story anthology (BLOOD RITES) has just crept into the Amazon Kindle top 15 for horror collections!
Pretty good for an indie publisher.
My story "The Binding" is included.
The publisher has the Kindle version up for 99 cents - this week only:

My crime thriller/family love story, SONS OF THE POPE, is also 99 cents this week for Kindle. It has previously cracked the top 30 in crime fiction - hoping the sale gets it back in there!

Just finished Blood Rites. The stories were hit-or-miss for me (I'm more of a psychological thriller fan than horror, per se), but yours was one of the half-dozen I liked. I thought it was reminiscent of Stephen King, and would translate well into a movie.
Spoiler: show
the way down-to-earth characters all played a role in a good-versus-evil, and the un-masking of a terrible being cheerfully posing as a decent human being

I appreciate that VERY much! Some Amazon reviewer said my story reminded them of Dean Koontz, and you say Stephen King.

I ain't gonna complain

Seriously, thank you kindly for reading and reviewing :D
