All the talk of the upcoming movie FF reboot brings to mind the previous times the Foursome were brought to the big and small screen.

On Facebook, someone said they'd rather see an FF with Herbie The Robot than this new version. I'm inclined to agree.

I voted for the 70's cartoon with H.E.R.B.I.E.
I....I also liked the Thing cartoon where Ben was a teenager and he had a Thing Ring. It's a horrifying admission, I know...but there you have it.

Specifically, the *second season* of the 1990's cartoon. The first season sucked balls but the SECOND season, they changed management, got Michael Uslan to produce and more importantly got John Buscema to storyboard with decent writers and adapted a bunch of Lee/Kirby as well as Byrne stories. I had totally abandoned the cartoon shortly after the first season began and just happened to check in at the beginning of the second season.
It. Was. Awesome. A shame few people stuck around for it but it's worth buying the series for the second season.
