I think I read that the Captain Crunch cereal formula was the one most often used for movie/TV cereals. In fact, it might have been Jay that wrote it.

It is true. If it was yellow pieces like that C3PO cereal, it's going to be a Captain Crunch ripoff. Which was also the same as King Vitamin.

I don't really remember this being much of a thing in the 90s. Did I just miss it or had the trend died off?

Maybe that just applies to water? Maybe milk is okay?

No, better safe than sorry. Besides, I like my cereal dry anyway.

I still have about 15 boxes of Batman cereal with cereal in them.

I'm not sure if I should be proud of that or sad.

If you could sell them on the internet and ship them, and make a hefty profit, I'd be proud of that. Maybe keep one box just for fun.

But if you die and they just sit here until somebody throws them out to make room, that would be sad. I mean, in addition to the sadness of your untimely death.

BTW, is that the box in the computer room? Cuz, if so, that one contains 12 - 14 oz boxes. Do you have others or what?

GASP! They have an SRP of $3.45.

Yeah, I have two or three others with the Batman banks attached to them.

But I think I ate one or two boxes from that crate upstairs.

I suspect, though, that I am the only person in the world who owns the cardboard shipping container
that the Batman cereal shipped in.

Ooooooooo, banks. And what do you put in the banks? The money you'll make above and beyond the $3.45 SRP per box if you sell them?

I wonder what they would go for? Plus shipping. $20 each? Two for a nickel?

Come on - who'd what to buy an old empty cardboard Batman cereal box?

I kept the empty Batman box. And I've got an empty Superman Pretzels bag somewhere.

At least an old pretzel bag might be worth its salt. :paranoid:

Lots of people collect old, empty cereal boxes.
They even sell clear boxes to put them into for display purposes.

And I got that entire crate if cereal as a birthday present. It was about $25 wholesale.

I have at least two of these with banks. Wrapped and full of cereal like these on eBay.
