Asia's performance at the inaugural High Voltage Festival during the summer of 2010 will be released this summer by Frontiers Records as a CD and DVD package. The original lineup of the band took the stage at Victoria Park, London on July 24th, 2010 and performed all of the songs from their blockbuster self-titled debut.
The new live CD and DVD package, entitled High Voltage, features the band's performances of all of the songs from their debut as well as "An Extraordinary Life" from 2008's reunion album Phoenix and "I Believe" from their 2010 album Omega.
High Voltage will be released by Frontiers in CD / DVD digi-pack format on August 22nd in Europe and August 26th in North America and the package will feature artwork from Roger Dean.
The news of this new live release comes as the band kicked off their Gravitas World Tour last week with two shows in the UK. The band launches the Japanese leg of the tour tonight in Nagoya at Zepp.
The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to launch on September 11th in Norfolk, CT at Infinity Hall and will conclude on October 20th in Solana Beach, CA at the Belly Up Tavern.
The band will then return to the UK on October 28th for the first show in the tour leg at Gateshead at Sage H2 with the leg concluding in London on November 2nd. And the Asia camp says that still more dates are to be announced.
The tour is in support of the band's latest studio album, "Gravitas".
