I bought this a couple of months ago. I don't recall that she had ever recorded an album back in her heyday, but it's still a good listen.

Yeah, it's a pretty good album. I was very excited that it finally got a CD release. It was on my "probably never going to happen" list.

Given her popularity at the time and the fact that it was on a major label (Epic), it's really surprising that it didn't do better. They even wrote an episode of Wonder Woman specifically to promote the album. The third season episode "Amazon Hot Wax" has Diana Prince/Wonder Woman going undercover as a singer to investigate the disappearance of famous musician. It is actually one of the better episodes of the series with some clever spoofs of then-popular recording acts like Donny & Marie and KISS. She sings "Want To Get Beside You" and "Toto" (which was also released as a single) from this album in the episode.

The cover photo probably doomed the album, that's awful. Should have been a brighter sexier pose. Portrait sounds like a Carpenters album.

The photo on the rear cover was probably the most famous one of her.

That should have been the front cover! Sexy Lynda. My wife always reminded me of Lynda when I was dating her and I still call her Wonder Woman. :)
