Band names don't get more generic than The Band.

S/T (the Brown Album).....that, Big Pink, and Stage Fright are as great as is gets.
You probably should've made Northern Lights - Southern Cross an individual choice......it's alot of people's favorite too.

I like them all, but "Music From Big Pink" and "The Band" are my favorites.

As far as the Band's studio output goes, all I have is the big "A Musical History" boxed set. Not an album proper, I know, but extremely cool.

I have a hard time choosing between Pink and Brown, with Stage Fright a close third.

Tough one for me between The Band and Big Pink. I went with Big Pink because at the time all anyone talked about was that album.

It was a toss-up for me between Big Pink and The Band, but I opted for the latter because I think it's just slightly better.
