Liking Elliot Gould I am surprised thisone got by me. Need to watch it. Without doubt Gordon Willis is one of the best cinematographer s of all-time. Thank you Gordon for your work. Rick A.

Wow--my wife and I watched "The Godfather Part II" just yesterday afternoon/evening, and were commenting on how Fidel Castro was somehow, apparently, still alive. Truly one of Willis' landmark efforts, probably best viewed on a big screen.
Although he received one of those "lifetime achievement" Oscars, he was only ever nominated twice--for "Zelig" (another amazing piece of cinema for its time) and "Godfather III". Hollywood's boneheadedness never ceases to amaze me. RIP.

Sad news. The Godfather is my all-time favorite movie. He browned that movie real good.
R.I.P., Mr. Willis.
