I have the Westbury date penciled. Can't commit right now because my daughter starts college that week.

At least there playing in the mountains in Washington in the Summer. The Tubes played in several feet of snow at the same casino in January. I would liked to have seen that, but I am NOT driving partway up a mountain pass in Winter to see anyone!

Huh. Snoqualmie, eh? Might be worth a jaunt. Haven't see Steve Morse since he was with Kansas.

Any NY/NJ peeps know how far Englewood or Morristown are from Philly and what those venues are like?

Might want to add August 15th FREE show here at Fremont Street Experience!

I love Vegas.

It costs DP money to play the States-no way a free show is happening.

Now, if Free were playing with DP, that would be even better (but we'd need Paul Kosoff back).

It certainly is. You're probably not familiar with Fremont Street, and the 10 casinos who pay big bucks for acts to play free for customers.
Come out on Aug 15 and see Deep Purple for free.

I was pretty surprised to see them playing in Elgin, IL. There's nothing going there, unless it is some local festival, but the big acts usually hit the Naperville Rib Fest when they play them...gonna have to check that out.

I know you're all booked up this August between vacation plans and college admissions, but what a time for JIMBO to visit Vegas for the first time and see Deep Purple for free!

I promise I can get us VIP passes by the stage too

I'm sorry, I worded that poorly-I meant another show like Geff was asking for.

I know how the Vegas thing works in that area-my cousin lives there and her husband goes all the time like you guys do which is awesome!

Ah, that explains it. I thought being flashed by the Phanatic might have caused you irreparable damage.

Oh, it has! (I wish I could get in a pic with him but they tell us not to take pix with players and the Phanatic. Lame I say, and I will try at season's end).

Please take your usual pix and give us a review if you're seeing DP-it's rare they play the States these days and that new album sounds better each time.
