G'day guys

I am considering going to The Mountain Jam festival in NY in June to see Allman Brothers Band etc

Is there anyone one here at Imwan who is also considering going to this? http://mountainjam.com/lineup/

I'd love to tag along, as i'm not familiar with NY and love a friend to show me around etc.

I'm also keen to do some music/DVD shopping in USA

Thanks for any advice

Any Australian or elsewhere Imwan people who may be interested let me know as well.

Adrian from Australia

Wish I was in NY at that time; I go see the Brothers and do alittle shopping with you.

After looking to book the festival tickets, it's way too Hard sadly. Camping over 4 days is not for me. :(

I am now looking for a few nice cities to relax and shop, maybe see a few concerts etc.

Any ideas guys?

So far LA & Seattle are on the list.

Maybe Geff can help. He's up in the state of Washington.

Thanks Rick

Yep, Geff have been very helpful.

If there are any other Imwan guys on the West coast who want to have a beer with me, let me know.

I'm on a mission to shop for music before CD shops no longer exist.

Last time I was in Europe (last year) in France, they were selling CDs for €5. The guy couldn't sell 'em

Go to San Francisco if you've never been there before. Great city......and you have Amoeba records.

Seattle and Portland are great too (4 hours apart). Portland has a lot of record/CD stores. Seattle less so (but some), but a beautiful city.

Been to San Francisco 3 times, love the place, especially the seafood soup in bread at Fisherman's Wharf. I will be in Hollywood LA to see Amoeba there this time. Will hopefully stay long enough in LA for my amazon delivery's to get there. How long does an Amazon.com delivery to LA take in USA ?

I will check out Portland as well. My 2 weeks seem to be full now. Plus a day or 2 in Vancouver Canada

Thanks guys !

See you there
