How many pages does your ideal comic book contain, including covers? Each of the poll choices has been a standard page count for monthlies, annuals and/or specials at some time during the history of the comic industry.

I like the 52 pagers because they were usually new content. 100 page ones usually had one new story, maybe a second that was part of a multipart story, and then all reprints. If it's just a form factor question, then the more pages the better. :)

They should have as many pages as needed, and they should be worth the money. No padding.

I always like a good 64-page special.

I went with 64, but basically whatever gives me the most bang for the buck.

Assuming the 32 pg includes the ads, etc. I'd stick with that. Not much point in having more pages each month because A) it would cost a helluva lot more, B) there'd be a lot of reprint or poorly done second feature stuff thrown in and C) even if it were all new stuff---none of these guys today can meet a deadline as it is.

52 but not New52!

Curt, our similarities situation borders on pre-arranged.
In other words, you have excellent taste, ultimate class,
and a correctness percentage that would make Limbaugh envious.
